I needed a new grinder and I heard only good things of scs. The grinder is a lot bigger then I thought it would be lol, it grinds whole buds really good and leaves the grinded up bud in the chambers, I love it and I use it daily!
This was a replacement for another brands grinder of the same size. Definitely “shreds” rather than rip up the material. My only complaint is the grinder chamber is too shallow in my opinion.
Honestly, if you grind alot it's perfect for that. Mostly quarters and half ounces can be ground at a time. I think it would hold anywhere from 1 to 2 ounces depending on dryness. Every tooth perfect, magnet holds well so far and the well is very big for my workers hands.
I have the 4 piece large but overtime the middle gets filled up with stuff and I wouldn’t get any kief, so I switch to 3 pieces jumbo one, it has the same design but scale up to handle way more flower, I could grind up half an oz and store it in the grinder but worry about freshness so I only do an eighths. Only worry about metal shaving off since the old one has a bit of paint scrape off around the **** on since the large one did but so far the jumbo seems fine.
